These chicken breasts cook up moist and tender. They are also extremely easy to make. You can cook them in a slow cooker or in the oven.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon browning sauce, optional
4 bone-in or boneless chicken breast halves
1/2 cup chicken broth
Directions
In a small bowl, combine the first eight ingredients; rub over chicken. Place in a 5-quart slow cooker; add broth. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 170 degrees. Or place in a 1 quart dish and cover in a 325 degree oven for 1 hour.
Yield: 4 servings.
