Fresh Salsa

I make this once a week. I never buy salsa from the store any more as this recipe is so easy to make. John

Ingredients:
1 large can of diced tomatoes, divided
1 or 2 jalapeƱos
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon oregano
1 tablespoon garlic
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 onion
1/2 bell pepper
1/2 bunch of fresh cilantro

Directions:
Put about 1/4 of diced tomatoes in blender. Then put in jalapeƱos or any other hot pepper that you like according to how hot you want the salsa to be. Add cumin, oregano, black pepper and garlic.

Blend on high speed. Put in another 1/4 of diced tomatoes, chopped onion and bell peppers. Put blender on stir mode and mix ingredients for just 1 second. The key here is not to make it too liquidly and keep it chunky. Now put in the cilantro. It MUST be FRESH cilantro. Add the remaining tomatoes and "stir" blend again or mix with a spoon.

I usually buy 2 large cans of diced tomatoes (any brand will do) and repeat this process twice.
