Lemon Chiller Dessert

This is an easy refreshing dessert. If you like lemons, you'll enjoy this.

Ingredients
3 egg yolks
1/4 teaspoons salt
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon finely grated lemon rind
3 egg whites
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
Vanilla wafers or graham cracker crust

Directions:
In top of double boiler, beat yolks until thick and lemon colored. Gradually beat in 1/2 cup, salt, lemon rind and juice. Cook and stir over simmering water until think; cool thoroughly.
Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add 1/3 cup sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Fold lemon mixture into whites. Fold in whipped cream. Pour lemon mixture into vanilla-wafer-lined 10-pie plate or graham cracker crust. Freeze until firm.
