Chicken Chili



A simple filling soup for those chilly winter nights.

Ingredients
1-2 lbs. chicken breasts, boiled and shredded (may use canned chicken or turkey chunks)
4 (15 ounces cans) Northern White Beans, do not drain
2 (14 ounces) cans of chicken broth
4 ( 4 ounces) cans chopped green chilies (can add or subtract depending on spiciness wishes)
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons cumin
2 teaspoons oregano
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups sour cream
1 cup milk, half and half or whipping cream

Directions
Pour all ingredients into a large pot. Bring to slow boil, add sour cream and mail, half and half or whipping cream.

Yield: It makes a lot. Usually half of this feeds a family.
